Every year, we pack our spiked hot cocoa & cider, gloves, scarves, boots and chainsaw and head to Widman's Tree Farm in Pine River for our annual Christmas tree cutting experience. We have such a great time playing games in the woods, laughing and sipping on our spiked beverages and laughing as we embark on the search of the perfect Christmas tree!!
Widman's is casual, friendly and non-pretentious! It is an over-grown tree farm so it takes a little more work to find your favorite tree and cut it down but me and my family wouldn't trade it for any in town, pre-cut Christmas tree shopping experience!!
If you are interested in saving some money, having a great time and experience cutting your Christmas tree like the pioneers did, this is the place for you!! This year your cut-it-yourself Christmas tree is $50 for ANY size tree!!! Our Christmas tree is 18-1/2 feet tall and GORGEOUS!!
